Los Angeles - July 15, 2002 - Tonos Entertainment, the global musicians network, today announced a series of artist development agreements with Atlantic Records, Columbia Records, J Records, DreamWorks Records, Jive Records and Interscope Geffen A&M Records.

Founded in 1999 by legendary music hitmakers Carole Bayer Sager, David Foster and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, features a vibrant community of aspiring musicians from around the world.

Starting today, Atlantic Records, Columbia Records, J Records, DreamWorks Records, Jive Records and Interscope Geffen A&M Records will award artist development agreements to two or more artists from the Tonos community who are mutually approved by Tonos and the respective label. The labels will each have the opportunity to select artists from a variety of genres, including country, rock, R&B, alternative and pop. The labels will work with the selected artists, who accept the demo deal offers, to cut multi-song demos with the right to sign them to a record deal. Aspiring musicians can be eligible for the artist development agreements by subscribing to TonosPRO, the Tonos subscription service.
"Tonos Entertainment is an online music network that is a win-win for both the artists and the music industry," said Val Azzoli, Co-Chairman/Co-CEO, The Atlantic Group. "Tonos is using the reach of the Internet to attract talent from all over the world and has put together an incredibly impressive artist development staff - from its legendary founders to its hitmaker team. We are excited to be partnering with them and look forward to working with artists discovered through Tonos."

"Today is a great day for musicians around the world," said Carole Bayer Sager, founder, Tonos Entertainment. "When David, Kenny and myself founded Tonos, our goal was to help make it as easy as possible for aspiring artists to connect with the biggest names in the industry. With today's announcement, we're taking that goal to the next level."

"During the past two years, Tonos has created a viable new approach for the industry to discover and develop new artists," said Justin Herz, CEO, Tonos Entertainment. "Our ability to consistently introduce new talent to the industry led to today's landmark agreements."
