|INDIANAPOLIS--Teenage recording artist Shonda Sue is close to the release of her sixth album on an independent label since she was 8. "No Greater Love," currently in the final stages of production, will feature 9 contemporary Christian cover songs and 3 traditional gospel hymns. The album is anticipated for release mid-to-late summer 2003 and serves as a tribute to Shonda Sue's favorite artists and songs.
The album, to be released on her own independent label, is prelude to her next project which may feature a mix of originals and cover songs.
The new album comes on the heels of two LIVE recordings released December 2002 by the teenage artist, a compilation of the best of her shows from the year and a holiday album entitled "Christmas with Shonda Sue."
Her first Nashville project, "Girl Thang," received airplay in Europe and Australia in 2002 following the release of her single "Live While I Can" on a compilation CD presented by Comstock Records.
Shonda Sue started her career with a country album, titled "I Love to Sing," at age 8 - followed at age 10 with her first gospel album, "Sweet, Sweet Land."
