Fanning The Flames: Vernon Neilly And G-Fire Featured At


August 2003 Los Angeles, CA-- It has been a mere two weeks, but since it’s July 16th global release to the public G-Fire has already begun to burn an imprint into the smooth jazz/jazz-fusion scene. Most recently the guitar pick-up giants at Seymour Duncan took significant notice and completed a very outstanding feature on the CD’s producer-- Boosweet Records’ CEO, Vernon Neilly. G-Fire is the moniker for “Guitars On Fire”, and this new summer jazz compilation album is justly titled as it showcases 4 of the most accomplished guitarist in the world. Each one of these incredible artists has their own wrap sheet of noteworthy professional credits to boast. Morris O’Connor currently with Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Kevin Chok’an musical director for Diana Ross, and longtime guitarist with Jeffery Osborne, Miguel Mega ‘hotter than hot’ Brazilian based Jazz artist, and Vernon Neilly who has worked with, and produced music legend Johnny “Guitar” Watson, and toured with the soulful Teena Marie have joined together to showcase their amazing playing and compositional talents. For over 2 decades, they have individually toured and recorded consistently with some of the biggest, and legendary names in the business.

The “Guitars On Fire” (G-Fire) project is a distinctly excellent combination of smooth jazz and jazz-fusion.
